Booking & Cancellation Policy

Applies to: Classes, workshops and 1:1 sessions unless otherwise agreed
This policy is designed to keep bookings straightforward and fair for both clients and a small sole-trader business. It explains how GeorgieJo Yoga handles payment, booking confirmations, cancellations, class credits and refunds.
1. PAYMENT
Bookings are confirmed once payment has been received in full, unless GeorgieJo Yoga has agreed another arrangement in writing.
Payment may be made by bank transfer in advance or by cash where this has been agreed.
If payment has not been received, GeorgieJo Yoga may treat the space as unconfirmed and offer it to another client.
Please use the payment reference provided where possible so that bookings can be matched correctly.
2. BOOKING CONFIRMATIONS
A booking is not guaranteed until GeorgieJo Yoga has confirmed your space. This is particularly important for small classes where places are limited.
Class times, venues and prices will be confirmed by email, website, WhatsApp or direct message.
If you are unsure whether your booking is confirmed, please check before travelling.
3. CANCELLATIONS BY CLIENTS
GeorgieJo Yoga understands that plans change. The aim of this policy is to be reasonable while also protecting a small business from repeated last-minute losses.
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before a class or session may be transferred to another available class or held as a credit, subject to availability.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the start time are normally non-refundable.
If you do not attend without notice, the booking will usually be treated as a no-show and no refund or credit will be offered.
Where there are exceptional circumstances, GeorgieJo Yoga may choose to offer goodwill credit at its discretion.
4. CANCELLATIONS BY GEORGIEJO YOGA
If GeorgieJo Yoga needs to cancel a class or session, clients will be treated fairly and given a clear option.
Where possible, notice will be given as soon as practical.
You will be offered either a transfer to another available class or a refund.
GeorgieJo Yoga is not responsible for indirect costs such as travel, parking or childcare arrangements.
5. REFUNDS AND CLASS CREDITS
Refunds and credits will be handled as simply as possible.
Approved refunds will usually be returned by bank transfer or by the original method of payment where practical.
Where a class credit is offered, it should normally be used within a reasonable period agreed by GeorgieJo Yoga.
Credits are generally non-transferable unless GeorgieJo Yoga agrees otherwise.
6. LATE ARRIVAL AND ADMISSION
To protect the quality and safety of the class, late arrival rules may need to be enforced.
Please arrive in good time so that the class can begin promptly.
If you arrive late, GeorgieJo Yoga may refuse entry where joining the session would disrupt the class or affect safety.
Late arrival will not usually create a right to a refund or credit.
7. PRICING AND CHANGES
Prices will be communicated clearly before booking. GeorgieJo Yoga may occasionally review prices, class structures or package arrangements as the business develops.
Any new prices will apply only to future bookings unless clearly stated otherwise.
Special offers, introductory rates and promotions may be subject to separate terms.
8. FAIR USE AND RESPECTFUL COMMUNICATION
GeorgieJo Yoga aims to build a warm and professional relationship with clients. In return, clients are asked to communicate promptly and respectfully when bookings change.
Repeated late cancellations or missed sessions may result in future bookings being limited or advance payment being required.
If you have any issue with payment or booking, please raise it directly so it can be resolved quickly and fairly.
By booking a class, workshop or 1:1 session with GeorgieJo Yoga, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy. Questions are always welcome before you book.
